Words of Welcome
It's a good idea to ask people who donate time to your nonprofit organization to report the time that they spend working on your behalf on volunteer time sheets. This is a good way to keep up with the activities of your volunteers for the purposes of expressing appreciation and recognizing those who make outstanding contributions. Go to the Activity Time Slots tab and click the “New” button. Give the time slot a Title. You can add an additional bit of information in the title that can help volunteers identify what they must accomplish during the time slot they volunteer for. Select the type of time slot you need: Blocks or Occurrences. See description above for. This schedule includes details of the activities to be undertaken in a week separated by days and corresponding time slots. Volunteers have an option to select the activity they intend to volunteer in a week. Some organisers permit spot registrations while in most of the events it is mandatory to register in advance.
The one common thread that unites our volunteers is their intrinsic need to give and to help those less fortunate. We are so grateful that you have chosen to serve Lunch Break and we welcome you to our organization. We look forward to a meaningful working relationship as your volunteer efforts, big or small, have a direct impact on helping our local community members in need. Thank you!
What are the time slots that volunteers can fill Volunteers are welcome to fill any four hour slot. Typically, the late night/early morning shift is filled by per-diem staff.
